Samaritans Shoe Box Appeal

   Saturday 31st October, 10.00 am to 12.00 noon, will be the coffee morning to raise funds for the appeal. We aim to send funds to support children living in orphanages or in very poor conditions, so they can also celebrate Christmas. Leaflets are available in church for you to read. 

Last year, we raised enough money to buy 25 beautifully filled boxes for 25 children to enjoy. 

Annual Gift Day: Sunday 1st November (All Saints’ Day) is our Patronal Festival, and there will be an opportunity to make a one-off donation in addition to your regular offering, especially if you feel particularly blessed this year. Carolyn (our Treasurer) has envelopes. If anyone wishes to use Gift Aid, Carolyn is happy to assist with this. 

Service of Remembrance & Thanksgiving for the Bereaved: 

Sunday 22nd November at 4.00 pm.

 Open invitations are available at the back of the church. If you cannot attend, you can complete a ‘candle request’ card if you wish; a candle will be lit on your behalf. You can leave the completed card in the basket. There will be no Evening Prayer on that day

Volunteers are needed: Volunteers are needed for the Welcome Team, the Refreshment Team and the Prayer Ministry Team. New rotas are being prepared, and we would welcome some new people to help with the running of the Church. If you would like to join us, please let Lesley have your names. Thank you.
